Keywords:
hotel management, digital transformation, PMS, OTA, TOE modelAbstract
Digital transformation in the hotel and tourism industry has fundamentally reshaped
operational management, revenue planning, and guest interaction processes over the past fifteen
years. This article presents a systematic analysis of the three principal digital segments of hotel
management: Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), Property Management Systems (PMS/CRS), and
guest experience and reputation management platforms through the lens of the Technology–
Organization–Environment (TOE) theoretical framework. The study employs a comparativedescriptive method based on secondary sources, including peer-reviewed literature indexed in
Scopus and ScienceDirect, industry analytical reports (Hotel Tech Report, TrustYou), and official
statistical and institutional data from the Republic of Uzbekistan. International experience -
including AccorHotels' strategic response to Airbnb and empirical studies conducted in Egyptian,
Indonesian, Taiwanese, Greek, and Brazilian hotels is examined in depth, and the technological,
organizational, and institutional readiness of Uzbekistan's hotel and tourism market is assessed
within the TOE framework.
